UFC 131: Jason ‘Shotgun’ Young Documentary by Whoa TV…..

Saturday will see the debut of one of Britain’s top MMA prospects on the big stage at UFC 131 in Vancouver, Canada. The talented Brit, Jason ‘Shotgun’ Young will have no easy task come Saturday night as he faces off against American Dustin Poirier who comes in fresh off a victory over Josh Grispi who was due to fight current UFC Featherweight Champion, Jose Aldo. Young comes into the bout holding a professional MMA record of 8 wins with 3 losses and will look to leave Canada with another W alongside his name. With victories coming via a multitude of methods, Young has shown how well rounded his game is and will hope to extend his win streak to 3 fights, his last loss coming over a year ago to UFC Lightweight & submission specialist, Paul Sass. Whoa TV present this documentary to allow MMA fans an insight into the training and preparation of Young going into his UFC debut & a chance to get to know Jason before he steps into the Octagon on June the 11th….. So, after a decisive (but not impressive) win over Anthony Pettis, does Clay ‘The Carpenter’ Guida get his long awaited shot at the UFC’s Lightweight Belt? After defeating Anthony Pettis via unanimous decision at last nights TUF 13 Finale, it seems that way, after all former WEC LW Champion, Pettis, was on a promise of a go at either Edgar or Maynard for the UFC LW strap if he’d have chalked up a W over the caveman last night…..

UFC 132: Silva vs Leben Official

UFC 132 set to take place on July 2nd will see Wanderlei ‘The Axe Murderer’ Silva take on Chris ‘The Crippler’ Leben in a bout many MMA fans have been calling for. Leben, who requested the bout, will take on Silva in the Brazilians first fight since winning a controversial decision victory over Michael Bisping. The fight card, which takes place at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand will see a host of top matchups including Urijah Faber’s shot at UFC Bantamweight Champ Dominick Cruz, and the rumoured bout between Tito Ortiz and Ryan Bader.
