Saturday will see the debut of one of Britain’s top MMA prospects on the big stage at UFC 131 in Vancouver, Canada. The talented Brit, Jason ‘Shotgun’ Young will have no easy task come Saturday night as he faces off against American Dustin Poirier who comes in fresh off a victory over Josh Grispi who was due to fight current UFC Featherweight Champion, Jose Aldo. Young comes into the bout holding a professional MMA record of 8 wins with 3 losses and will look to leave Canada with another W alongside his name. With victories coming via a multitude of methods, Young has shown how well rounded his game is and will hope to extend his win streak to 3 fights, his last loss coming over a year ago to UFC Lightweight & submission specialist, Paul Sass.
